A delegation from the Hazard Management Cayman Islands (HMCI) team came to London to meet with Her Majesty’s Government in June to discuss developments in the Disaster Management Plan for the Cayman Islands.
The trip was hosted by the Governor’s Office and involved a series of meetings with HMG including meeting the Department for International Development (DFID), Crisis Management Department (CMD), a tour of the UK Crisis Centre, and a meeting with Dame Owens from the IMB. The delegation were also hosted at a reception by Lord Ahmad, Minister for the Overseas Territories.
The delegation from Cayman included Ms Danielle Coleman, Director Hazard Management, Kathryn Dinspell Pwerll (DCO) Matthew Forbes (HoGo).
