Another great day of Cayman fun happened in Kings Cross, London in March when Cayman Students and CCUK Friends got together to celebrate all things Cayman and UK at a classic pub quiz! Lead Student Ambassador Julianna Wood put together a fun and interesting series of quiz rounds and four teams battled for the win.
A mixture of UK and Cayman themed questions entertained the group and all vowed to hold a pub quiz every year. Food and special cocktails were enjoyed by all and we are looking forward to next year already! Congratulations team SNAPPER for coming in the lead and a huge thank you to the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism and the Cayman Islands Government London Office for their support of the event.

“Living in the UK means that you won’t usually come in contact with people from the Caribbean, much less Caymanians. However, going to the pop quiz was such a nice experience because it gave us a chance to interact with similar students experiencing the same things I am. At the same time I made new friends along the way. This brought a feeling of being back at home in Cayman, despite us studying at different universities throughout the UK.”
