André Ebanks meets Members of the Shadow Cabinet.
London, United Kingdom – Cayman Islands Representative to the UK and Europe Mr André Ebanks joined Overseas Territory Representatives at a meeting of the United Kingdom Overseas Territories Association (UKOTA) with members of the Shadow Cabinet, chaired by Stephen Doughty MP, Shadow Foreign & International Development Minister (Overseas Territories and Africa).
The purpose of the meeting was to give UKOTA members the opportunity to outline key issues for the Overseas Territories, chiefly the effects of the Covid pandemic, Brexit implications, environmental actions, defence, constitutional, social and trade matters.
André Ebanks commented: “I am most grateful for the time Shadow Ministers made to engage with UKOTA in such a wide-ranging, refreshing, and stimulating discussion. I welcomed the opportunity to join the meeting on behalf of Cayman Islands and participate with sister Overseas Territories Representatives.
