Grand Cayman, 3 November 2021 – Premier and Minister for Sustainability and Climate Resiliency, Hon. G. Wayne Panton, attended the Terra Carta Action Forum, at the United Nations Conference on Climate Change (known as COP26) in Glasgow, Scotland, today (3 Nov 2021). 

The Premier was able to share a few words about the Cayman Islands with His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales, who hosted the event.

The forum is part of the Sustainable Markets Initiative to establish international agreements that will support efforts to protect the climate, as well as diversity plans to protect the planet.

The Premier shared with His Royal Highness news of the establishment of the Commonwealth Climate Growth Fund (Cayman) LP, based in the Cayman Islands, and sponsored by the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC).
