Prime Minister Boris Johnson has tonight announced the third national lockdown in England effective midnight tonight.

Primary and secondary schools and higher education institutions in England are closed until at least mid-February and only offering online classes/facilities. Naturally we recommend that you communicate with your school/university to confirm their available online facilities. We understand that there will be persons considering their UK/Cayman travel arrangements.

The January Cayman BA flights to and from the UK are expected to proceed as planned, the Cayman Islands Government is in discussions with BA regarding additional flights beyond January. Please see Government Advisory note regarding travel to the Cayman Islands at the CIG travel information pages:
