Continuing on his mission to improve the relationship between The Cayman Islands and the UK, Mr. Bush and his team concluded a very busy first of the delegations visit with an exclusive dinner at the Palace of Westminster.
The CIG delegation were joined by HE The Governor of the Cayman Islands, Ms. Helen Kilpatrick and 30 MPs and Peers for an evening overlooking the River Thames.
Of those attending, Mr. Graham Brady, MP and chair of the CI-APPG, spoke favourably of the Cayman Islands financial services remarking that in this industry, the islands are “an example to the world of how to do things right”. Other prominent figures in attendance were Mr. James Duddrige and Sir Henry Bellingham, two former Overseas Ministers at the FCO, Sir William Cash, a key figure in Parliament and the always welcomed Mr. Nigel Evens.
With an exemplary setting, top-class food and drink, the event was once again a huge success for the team.
