The United Kingdom Overseas Territories Association hosts an annual christmas luncheon which brings together Overseas Territories Representatives in a formal but social environment for a meal to discuss the achievements and challenges of the previous year and to refocus on the future.
The main topics discussed around the table were Brexit, specifically how the Overseas Territories can become a significant part of the new global Britain. The affects of Hurricanes Irma and Maria on three of the BOTs namely Angulilla, BVI and TCI were also discussed, as well as a review of the aid which was offered by fellow BOTs as a part of the British family.
