The Cayman Islands Government Office and Department of Tourism staff joined together to celebrate Christmas at Adam Handling’s premier restaurant The Frog in Covent Garden. This partnership is particularly important to continue close ties with Chef Adam who took part in Cayman’s Taste of Cayman Festival and is in discussions with Cayman Islands restaurants to partake in resident chef programmes.
Adam Handling’s Culinary journey started at gleneagles where he was the first ever trainee chef, before going on to become Fairmont’s youngest ever Head Chef, culminating in winning Scottish Young Chef of the Year 2011. A highly accomplished chef, Adam Handling brings his love of Asian flavours and techniques – particularly Japanese – to his kitchen. His beautifully presented dishes start with careful sourcing of top quality, seasonal ingredients, prepared in a number of different, creative ways to enhance their inherent properties and delivery real depth of flavour and harmony.
Chef Adam’s relationship with the Cayman Islands Government Office and Department Of Tourism is another successful partnership to enhance Cayman Islands reputation as the Culinary Capital of the Caribbean.
