The evening included an auction for Springboard UK a charity helping young people achieve their potential; supporting unemployed people of any age into work; and people facing multiple barriers to work. The Cayman Islands offered a key prize of a holiday for two including flights and accommodation at the Kimpton Seafire Resort and Spa to share the story of Cayman with the audience bids were received and the audience were invited to a ‘heads and tails’ interactive participation game of chance to find the lucky winners. Chris Duggan, Vice President of Investment Operations at Dart Enterprises talked about the Cayman Islands and the Seafire Resport and Spa, offering an additional seven night stay to the auction.
Mr Bush said of the event, “These events are particularly important for the Cayman Islands overseas, as here we can showcase the islands to the top of the top in the culinary industry, creating a greater understanding of the Cayman Islands as a significant culinary destination and enhancing and improving future opportunities for Cayman globally.”
